K2543 Ignition Problems



Just fitted a 6 volt version of this kit to my BSA Bantam D14 motorcycle and still have a lot of sparking at the points, I was under the impression that this style of ignition stopped that happening.

Removed the condenser as per the instructions and the machine starts and runs but now has quite a big flat spot when taking off.

Is there something wrong with it?




I’m not sure but the best I can figure is that it may not work on single cylinder engines.
