VMA419 Led display; displaying blocks incorrect

#1

Hey,
After purchase of the display, installation of software, and connection to arduino uno according to manual.
I have the following problem.

Ex.1 print text (0,0, ‘OXO’, …) Normally the word OXO should appear above the top left.
Unfortunately the machine decides otherwise, see photo 1.

Ex.2 write pixel (0,0, … … normal led far left above
that doesn’t work either, see photo 2.
Error in program ?? Doubtfull as the demo programs have the same effect
Connections ?? 3 x double check
Use separate 5V power supply (a lot of light)

In my humble opinion, the display is made up of 8X (8x8) blocks,
Ex. top left [1] [2] [3] [4]
Bottom left [5] [6] [7] [8]

The display makes
Top left [6] [2] [8] [4]
Bottom lef t [5] [1] [7] [3]
Error in software? Error in display? Mistake by me?

I hope the problem is more or less clear.

Hey,
New problem with DMD419.
The blocks now work correctly.
but when connecting two displays (and adjusting program for 2 displays),
The text to be scrolled runs simultaneously across the two displays,
Does not go from display one to display two.
This works with the previous software DMD with non corrected blocks.

Please answer.
Regards
Jozef.

Hi, I have the same problem, connecting two displays (and adjusting program for 2 displays),
The text to be scrolled runs simultaneously across the two displays,
Does not go from display one to display two.
I don’t know if works with the previous software DMD because i bought DMD Feb 2018 and the librarie to arduino it is DMD419, but I tried with another DMD libraries and doesn’t work, doesn’t fo from display one to two, runs in both at the same time.
